Established in 1991 by medical herbalist Paul Mitchell, The Herbal Dispensary - Store & Health Clinic has built a strong reputation and following for the unique, professional and friendly natural health care services on offer.

           
Over the counter advice and treatment is available from one of our team of qualified Herbalists and Naturopaths for people experiencing acute (short term) illness. We take a brief history of your illness, check on medications you are taking or other more serious health conditions you may have. We then individualise a treatment option for you and advise of any dietary or lifestyle changes you could make to assist in your recovery. Individually tailored treatment options may include use of dried herbs, liquid herbal formulations, herbal and/or nutritional tablets including "state of the art" practitioner only products. Treatment options can be made to suit most budgets.
           
Private consultations in our Health Clinic are available for treatment of more complex conditions. If after speaking to you over the counter we feel your illness is complex, long standing or involves use of a number of prescription medicines we will usually suggest referral to The Health Clinic. Because of our understanding of the complexity of human beings and their differing physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs we believe in a 'holistic approach' to health.The Health Clinic offers a team of 15 complementary health practitioners available to support your quest for good health and the sense of wellbeing that accompanies it.
